The New American Terrorist
We are living in perilous times; prior to 911 terrorism was mostly confined overseas to individuals and groups that espoused radial ideas of change fostering those ideas through acts of violence, disruptions, and mayhem.
America once thought to be safe and untouchable by such acts, experienced horrific and shocking measures of hate in the bombing of the Federal building in Oklahoma then the unconscionable events of September 11, 2001.
The people behind these acts consider themselves to be revolutionaries calling attention to their ideologies through mass fear and intimidation.
Although, such ideologies, radial persons and groups are a threat more than ever, our government has yet identified a new group of terrorist. This new group of terrorist seems to have taken center stage with the security professionals of the Homeland office and the term “Domestic Terrorism” has because a new buzz word within the intelligent community.
Who are these “Domestic Terrorist”, what do they want, what are their goals, and most of all, so that we may understand them, what is the ideology that drive them?
The effort will be humble at best however, it is the intent of this writing to explain to others what an American Terrorist is, understanding that definitions and typologies may appear restricted due to governmental usage of terms.
The New American Terrorist:
The one thing that is common among American Terrorist -
They are Americans They believe in the Love, Mercy, and Hope of God through is HIS son Jesus Christ They believe in the Constitution as established by the founding fathers of American They believe in a Federal Judicial structure that interprets law, not make law They believe that America was founded on moral and spiritual principles They believe in the right to life They believe lending a helping hand whenever and wherever necessary.
Type definition:
Americans who are against the Health Bill Americans who are against Abortion Americans who are against big government Americans who are against (North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Americans who are against the Hate Crimes Bill Americans who are against banning guns Americans who are against open immigration Americans returning from combat duties overseas.
Acts of the New American Terrorist:
Speaking out at town hall meetings asking the hard questions when given the chance. Sending letters to their government representatives asking him or her to vote on an amendment or bill that reflects the belief and values of their constituents.
Giving their opinions on what is right for this nation on radio shows, editorial, and news events.
Expressing their views on blogs, websites, and petitions.
In the face of such sweeping changes brought on by this administration and what appears to be a continued assault against liberty, It is almost ironic that these so called American Terrorists are not called Freedom Fighters.
